Pondok Matematika - Child-Friendly Educational Site

The Challenge

An elementary school math teacher wanted to create a personal website, “Pondok Matematika SD” (Elementary Math House), to share learning materials and connect with students and parents. The key challenge was to create a design and user experience that was not just functional, but also engaging and appealing to its target audience: young children.

The Solution

I built the website on the WordPress platform and took on the role of both designer and developer. The central focus of the project was creating a custom, child-friendly theme.

Instead of using a standard corporate or blog template, I designed the theme from the ground up with a bright, colorful, and playful aesthetic. The layout, typography, and color palette were all chosen to create a welcoming and engaging environment for elementary school students. This project demonstrated my ability to tailor a technical solution to meet the specific user experience goals of a client, showing versatility beyond standard business websites.
