DSV Clothes Online Store

The Challenge

The client, DSV Clothes, required a custom online store to sell their clothing and apparel. They needed a platform that was not only a standard e-commerce site but also included specific features for stock management and a customer membership system.

The Solution

I built the DSV Clothes online shop using the OpenCart framework. This project served as a deep dive into the OpenCart ecosystem, going beyond a standard installation. To meet the client's specific needs, I was responsible for significant custom development work.

What I Learned & Implemented

• OpenCart Theme Development: I designed and developed a custom theme from scratch to give the store a unique brand identity, distinct from standard OpenCart templates.
• OpenCart Module Development: I developed custom modules to add required functionality that was not available in the core framework, including enhancements to the stock management and membership systems.

This project was a crucial learning experience that solidified my skills in a major e-commerce platform. It demonstrated my ability to not just use a framework, but to extend and adapt it at the code level to deliver a truly custom solution for a client.
